During an appearance on Jay Leno last night, President Obama responded to Richard Mourdock’s comments that even pregnancies which occur as a result of rape are a “gift from God” and something that “God intended”:
“I don’t know where these guys come up with these ideas. Rape is rape. It is a crime…This is exactly why you don’t want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women’s health care.”
