I am a mom, an artist, a blogger, and an unabashedly proud Liberal. I began blogging politics both because I realize that it's important for all of us to be involved in the political process, and in part, to honor the memory of my Mother, who died in 2004, and recognized the danger inherent in the rise of the far right as long as thirty years ago.
COMMENT POLICY......
First of all, I should probably point out that I very, very rarely respond to comments. I read every single comment submitted, and thoroughly enjoy reading them, but I try not to respond because I hope that you will have genuine conversations among yourselves. In my experience, when a blogger responds to comments, it tends to shut down discussion to some degree. So, my choice is to give you plenty of room to discuss, agree, disagree, with very limited interference from me.
That said, if you are a right wing commenter, tread carefully.
