So as I posted yesterday morning, Sarah Palin stood up for Dr. Laura Schlessinger on Twitter and elsewhere after Schlessinger’s racist N word rant to a caller on her radio show. I also posted a quote about Palin from Schlessinger’s blog, a little surprised at her negative feelings toward Sarah Palin. I mean, after all, they're really pretty much birds of a feather in my eyes.
After giving it some thought, I decided to check out the “Sarah Palin” category on Dr. Laura’s blog, and while there were only a few posts about Sarah, I chuckled as I realized just how little regard Dr. Laura really has for Palin. Read for yourself.
During the election, Mrs. Palin paraded her pregnant daughter and the sperm donor around to display family values, saying they were “engaged.” That, too, was a disgusting display, especially with John McCain embracing this shameful young man on international television. [.....]
I’m stunned - couldn’t the Republican Party find one competent female with adult children to run for Vice President with McCain? I realize his advisors probably didn’t want a “mature” woman, as the Democrats keep harping on his age. But really, what kind of role model is a woman whose fifth child was recently born with a serious issue, Down Syndrome, and then goes back to the job of Governor within days of the birth? [.....]
I am extremely disappointed in the choice of Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Republican Party. [.....]
So, dear Dr. Laura, I suspect that after her defense of you, you'll be Palin's BFF...at least until she hears about those blog posts.
