One of the dumbest remarks ever, by a guy who should definitely know better since as a former derivatives trader, he is intimately familiar with stock market fluctuations. Pat Toomey, the GOP candidate for the Senate in Pennsylvania, on social security privatization:
I would argue that you don’t really have to worry about a fluctuation in the stock market.
