The NAACP adopted a resolution that "calls on the tea party and all people of good will to repudiate the
racist element and activities within the tea party".
The resolution was adopted during the annual convention in Kansas City
of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People,
spokesman Chris Fleming said. Tea party organizers disputed claims of
racism and called on the NAACP to withdraw the resolution.
Okay, Tea Baggers. Still unwilling to own your own actions and words.
Meanwhile, the Quitter Queen, Sarah Palin, had this to say about the resolution.
“I am saddened by the NAACP’s claim that patriotic Americans who stand up for the United States of America’s Constitutional rights are somehow “racists.” The charge that Tea Party Americans judge people by the color of their skin is false, appalling, and is a regressive and diversionary tactic to change the subject at hand.”
So..they're "standing up for our Constitutional rights". Gag me, Palin.
“So Sambo beat the bitch!”
This is how Republican Vice
Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over
Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after
Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.
