David Duke New Spokesperson for the Tea Party?

Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the Klu Klux Klan, gives the Tea Party some talking points. Sad to say, they’ve already put those points to good use, and in the process, managed to squelch the talk about Tea Party racism.

I won’t post his screed on my blog, but it’s not a bad idea to listen to it [i did] so you know how to respond to the teabaggers who spew his nonsense. Blech. Now I need some brain bleach.

Palin claims Tea Baggers not racist, just patriotic

The NAACP adopted a resolution that "calls on the tea party and all people of good will to repudiate the racist element and activities within the tea party".

The resolution was adopted during the annual convention in Kansas City of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, spokesman Chris Fleming said. Tea party organizers disputed claims of racism and called on the NAACP to withdraw the resolution.

Okay, Tea Baggers. Still unwilling to own your own actions and words. 

Meanwhile, the Quitter Queen, Sarah Palin, had this to say about the resolution.

“I am saddened by the NAACP’s claim that patriotic Americans who stand up for the United States of America’s Constitutional rights are somehow “racists.” The charge that Tea Party Americans judge people by the color of their skin is false, appalling, and is a regressive and diversionary tactic to change the subject at hand.”

So..they're "standing up for our Constitutional rights". Gag me, Palin.

Nothing new here. We’ve seen many Obama-Hitler signs at Tea Party events.

The racists of The Tea Party continue to carry on their ludicrous, and hateful campaign against the President, all the while crying about how they’re so misunderstood, they’re just about taxes and small government, blah, blah, blah….

No wonder the rest of the world laughs at us.
